#About Me

Hi, I am CHIHOKYO. I currently work in IT in Tokyo.

As a cross-disciplinary player—native in Chinese, working in Japanese, and diving into English docs after hours—my brain is pretty much stuck in a constant state of 'trilingual surround sound.' If you spot some weird pseudo-Japanese Kanji or funky English grammar on my blog, don't worry. That's just my mental translation compiler overflowing again.

In an era where everyone can code with AI, I actually enjoy digging into the fundamentals. Rather than endlessly chasing shiny new frameworks, I prefer exploring low-level computer principles, aiming to build a solid technical foundation so I can see the big picture.

Thanks to long-term remote work, I've basically evolved into a complete homebody. My only real hobby is swimming 🌊, though I picked up a bit of photography just to force myself outside for the sake of my health. When I'm stressed out, I like to cook myself some good food to unwind.Anyway, thanks for bearing with my rambling this far. Nice to meet you!

#About This Site

I originally built this site to practice the Feynman Technique—summarizing and organizing the knowledge I’ve learned. Over time, the goal shifted to turning my phase-by-phase experiences into long-term, reusable knowledge assets.

When I write, I don't like just dropping the conclusion. I prefer breaking complex problems down into actionable little steps. I like letting the multiple personalities in my head fight it out, untangling the whole thought process before finally arriving at a conclusion. I suppose that quirk really shapes my writing style and the vibe of my articles.

The tech stack here is Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind. But most importantly, it’s entirely the brainchild of pure, stream-of-consciousness 'Vibe Coding.'

Moving forward, I plan to keep tinkering with the site's search and content architecture. I want it to be a continuously evolving engineering project, not just a dusty static showcase. Of course, that all depends on my sporadic bursts of motivation (lol).
